Roberto Cantello is the Head, Neurology Unit of the U.P.O. This includes, among other sections, the center for the diagnosis and treatment of Dementias, the Parkinson’s disease center, and the A.L.S. center.
Professor Cantello is particularly competent in clinical neurophysiology, yet he has a long-standing experience in the management of Parkinson’s disease, and in the diagnosis of motoneuron disease. A large proportion of his scientific research was carried out in these fields, too. As to the AGING project, he is co-responsible of the sub-section NEUROAGING.
