Kick-Off Meeting – Beyond the Emergency – BeEmTel Project
The University of Piemonte Orientale will launch a pilot course of advanced multidisciplinary training named BeEmTel, along with six prestigious European partners from Italy, Greece, Germany, Romania and Croatia. This project will focus on the management of chronic diseases with telemedicine systems using innovative teaching methods based on medical simulation. The main point of the BeEmTel project consist in extending pedagogical horizons of Medical Simulation in context of long term care for patients with chronic diseases. The challenge of this European project, created and coordinated by the DIMET, consists in giving advanced and interdisciplinary skills to university students through an high quality Digital education. The project will create a free training course dedicated to students of Medicine, Surgery, Nursing Psichology and Biomedical Engineering.

L’Università del Piemonte Orientale, in cooperazione con sei prestigiosi partner europei provenienti da Italia, Germania, Grecia, Croazia e Romania, avvierà un corso pilota di alta formazione multidisciplinare denominato BeEmTel. Il progetto sarà incentrato sulla gestione delle malattie croniche con sistemi di telemedicina attraverso metodologie didattiche innovative basate sulla simulazione medica.
La scommessa formativa di BeEmTel consiste nell’ampliare gli orizzonti pedagogici della Simulazione medica in contesti di assistenza di lungo periodo per pazienti con patologie croniche. La sfida di questo progetto europeo, ideato e coordinato dal DIMET, è di far acquisire competenze specialistiche avanzate e interdisciplinari agli studenti già nel percorso universitario di base, al fine di rendere più pronti i futuri operatori della salute nella gestione delle cronicità attraverso una Digital education di alta qualità.
Il progetto porterà alla creazione di un corso di formazione gratuito rivolto agli studenti di Medicina e Chirurgia, Infermieristica, Psicologia e Ingegneria Biomedica.
